Miner is my black lab. 'Tug' is one of his favorite things to do. If you ask him "where's your tug?" he goes to find his rope toy...unless he goes to find his duck. He's not so good with English.

I vote curtains with a hint of color to break up the neutral wall, not too much curtain, but just color framing the window in summer, but maybe providing some extra draft blocking in winter?
