sad...just sad...

I guess I am going to have to come up with a new name for this blog. David and I are separating and Miner will eventually live with him. I got to name the dog, but he's really David's. The whole separation thing is something completely different, and I am not sure I am ready to publicly provide details. It's just sad, and I wish that things could be different, but I know that they can't. And both of us realize it's the right thing to be doing.

Anniversary Presents

So, for our anniversary, we got each other a TV and new fridge. The 4th year is electronics and appliances, right? I catch flack from my "work mom" Robbi (I call her that because she reminds me of my mom, only her kids just turned 21 instead of 30). She says, "no gifts with extension cords." She's also volunteered to take David shopping for something sparkly for my birhtday coming up. I might take her up on that if I can talk David into it.

I had a diet Coke before class tonight...I'll be up until midnight again...
